Foundation |
We partner with local companies that are willing to
extend financial and/or service related donations and/or
discounts. We continue to add to our base of resources
available in each community. We then act to link each
family with community-based resources specific to their
individual needs.
Our staff and volunteers provide personal assistance to
the surviving families at their time of greatest need.
We meet with the family to assess and prioritize their
needs. Then, using the most appropriate available
resources within their community, we will satisfy those
needs to the best of our ability. The assessment is free
of charge and services accessed will be offered free of
charge or at a reduced rate, depending on findings of
need and on availability. Staff and volunteer services
include, but are not limited to:
• Assistance in making calls and/or scheduling
appointments related to the passing of the primary
caregiver and to begin building their new life
• Pastoral introduction
• Grief support introduction
• Hand-in-hand assistance related to the family’s needs,
including locating needed resources and services
